Dermal fillers

Over time, the natural volume of youthful skin diminishes as wrinkles and folds settle in. Fillers instantly restore volume and smooth away deep lines and facial creases. Fillers can also minimize dark circles under the eyes, return lost volume in the hands, add fullness to the lips, improve acne scars, and shape the nose.

Before the procedure, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize any potential discomfort. The injections typically take between fifteen and thirty minutes, and the results are immediate with minimal downtime. Depending on the type of filler and location on the body, the effects can last for six months to two years.

Anti-wrinkle treatment

Anti-wrinkle injections are a simple and safe procedure that can be performed during a routine visit, with no downtime and little to no discomfort. They work by temporarily reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause persistent frown lines, forehead wrinkles, or smile lines around the eyes. If treatments are not continued, the muscles will gradually return to normal function and wrinkles will return. They can also be used to treat excessive sweating and jaw pain.

Our goal with these products is to give our patients a “softer and relaxed look”, not eliminate movement.

Acne Scar removal

Acne can leave behind scars that persist even after breakouts have cleared, affecting self-esteem and confidence. Fortunately, there are many treatment options that can significantly improve acne scars. These treatments vary depending on the type of acne scarring, as well as the skin pigmentation of the patient. We offer a variety to treat acne scars including subcision, CO2 Fractional laser, Fraxel Dual laser, and dermal filler injections.

Brown Spots or Sun Spots removal

Brown spots or sun spots are the result of aging and are more pronounced in areas of sun exposure like the face, chest, and hands. They are not cancerous, but can make you look and feel much older than your actual age. Fortunately, there are several options to treat brown spots safely and effectively. Both individual spots and larger areas like the face or chest can be treated. Treatments include chemical peels, CO2 Fractional laser,  Fraxel Dual 1927 and Q-switch NdYag lasers.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels have been used for years, as they are a safe and effective treatment for many skin conditions. We offer peels to help correct hyperpigmentation, brown spots, sun spots, melasma, and acne. Chemical peels can also be performed to improve skin tone and texture, and to prevent premature signs of aging. When treating acne, we prefer salicylic acid peels, while, for overall skin rejuvenation, we use glycolic acid peels.

Hyperpigmentation treatment

There are many different ways to address hyperpigmentation, or darker areas of skin on the face and body. Topical regimens including prescription lightening ingredients can be helpful, especially in combination with pigment-specific procedures such as laser treatments and chemical peels.

Melasma treatment

Melasma is a common condition primarily seen in young women. It is patchy, brown, hyperpigmentation of the face most often located on the forehead, cheeks, nose and upper lip. Melasma is usually triggered by sun exposure or hormonal changes caused by birth control pills or pregnancy. Vigilant sun protection and lightening creams can prove effective treatments; however, for more resistant melasma, stronger treatments include the CO2 Fractional  and Fraxel Dual 1927 lasers, as well as the Cosmelan depigmentation peel.

Rosacea treatment

Rosacea is a very common skin condition affecting over 16 million Indians. It manifests in patients as redness, broken capillaries, or flushing, which can be treated with the KTP Excel-V laser. Most patients see improvement with one treatment, but multiple treatments may be required depending on the severity of the condition, the type of blood vessel, and the skin type of the patient.

Seborrheic Keratoses

Seborrheic keratoses are brown, warty growths that can develop on the face, neck and body as we age. They are extremely common and can vary in number, with some people having hundreds. Seborrheic keratoses are not cancerous, but can be irritating and cosmetically disturbing. They can be removed with minimal recovery time using electrosurgery or cryosurgery.

Skin Tag and Mole Removal

Skin tags are extremely common growths, which can be bothersome and cosmetically displeasing. Depending on the size and location, they can be removed simply by cryosurgery, electrodessication, or snip removal.

Moles or Melanocytic nevi are small often slightly raised blemishes on the skin which are quite dark due to high concentration of melanin in them. Sometimes regarded as "beauty marks" especially when found in women's cheeks, however, these are not always beautiful. Moles are graded as epidermal, junctional/mixed and intradermal nevi, depending upon their level of origin and depth.

Skin texture or tone

Although everyone is born with baby soft skin, sun damage and exposure to the elements can take their toll resulting in rough, uneven skin texture and tone. We will offer an individualized skin care regimen and discuss other treatments including chemical peels, and laser therapies.

HIFU is a noninvasive procedure that uses ultrasound energy to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck and chest. Ultrasound energy heats the deep layers of the skin, creating microinjuries to the same layer that is lifted during a facelift. As the skin heals, new collagen is produced, creating a lift. Optimal results are seen six months post procedure. It is a great option for patients that are not ready or do not want to undergo a surgical procedure. Popular treatment areas include the lower face for a tighter jawline and minimized double chin, the brow to improve lid sagging, as well as the neck for firming and tightening of the skin. There is some minor discomfort during the procedure, which is managed with oral medications . A great part of HIFU versus other invasive procedures is that there is no downtime. After HIFU, patients look normal and can go out to dinner, or go back to work.

Removal of Wrinkles and Fine Lines

With age, it is natural to develop static fine lines and wrinkles. Each person ages differently, as both genetics and lifestyle factors, such as sun exposure and smoking, influence the aging process.

Wrinkles can be treated in many different ways. Botox injections relax facial muscles improving wrinkles that occur with movement. Filler injections plump up the skin restoring lost volume and improving deep lines.

For some patients, chemical peels and filler injections are not enough, and they require laser resurfacing to reduce wrinkles and stimulate new collagen formation. We use the latest technologies including RF micro-needling, and the Fraxel Dual Laser to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Freckle removal treatment

Freckles are flat, beige, brown circular spots that typically are the size of the head of a common nail. The spots are multiple and may develop on sun-exposed skin after repeated exposure to sunlight. These are particularly common in people with red hair and a fair complexion. They may appear on people as young as 1 or 2 years of age.

Most freckles are uniform in color. On different people, freckles may vary somewhat in color -- they may be reddish, yellow, tan, light brown, brown, or black -- but they are basically slightly darker than the surrounding skin. They may become darker and more apparent after sun exposure and lighten in the winter months. Freckles are due to an increase in the amount of dark pigment called melanin and an increase in the total number of pigment-producing cells called melanocytes.

Micro-needling RF treatment

Laser treatments are popular in treating many skin conditions. Yet, the traditional ablative laser technology has many problems. These lasers can easily damage the uppermost layer of skin called the epidermis. It’s also very difficult to control the depth to which these lasers penetrate the skin. But the modern fractional technology overcomes these disadvantages of the ablative lasers. The latest fractional radiofrequency microneedle devices are much less invasive, less damaging and offer greater selectivity in treatment.

Microneedles are very small, microscopic needles that can penetrate only to a certain depth in the skin. The latest fractional radiofrequency devices use insulated microneedles and radiofrequency to deliver energy to heat up a very specific area within the dermis of the skin. The use of radiofrequency and microneedles allow the delivery of energy at a very specific point, so it dramatically reduces the risk of harming the epidermis at all. This technology has been very successfully used in the treatment of wrinkles, atrophic scars and hypertrophic scars.

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Today, mesotherapy is used to:

  • remove fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face

  • reduce cellulite

  • fade wrinkles and lines

  • tighten loose skin

  • recontour the body

  • lighten pigmented skin

  • treat alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss

The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin. The idea behind mesotherapy is that it corrects underlying issues like poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage.
